“Without considering his personal comforts, MÄdhavendra PurÄ« carried one maund [about eighty-two pounds] of sandalwood and twenty tolÄs [about eight ounces] of camphor to smear over the body of GopÄla. This transcendental pleasure was sufficient for him.
