mÄraḥ svayaá¹ nu madhura-dyuti-maṇá¸alaá¹ nu
mÄdhuryam eva nu mano-nayanÄmá¹›taá¹ nu
veṇī-mṛjo nu mama jīvita-vallabho nu
kṛṣṇo 'yam abhyudayate mama locanÄya

 mÄraḥ - Cupid; svayam - personally; nu - whether; madhura - sweet; dyuti - of effulgence; maṇá¸alam - encirclement; nu - whether; mÄdhuryam - sweetness; eva - even; nu - certainly; manaḥ-nayana-amá¹›tam - nectar for the mind and eyes; nu - whether; veṇī-má¹›jaḥ - loosening of the hair; nu - whether; mama - My; jÄ«vita-vallabhaḥ - the pleasure of the life and soul; nu - whether; kṛṣṇaḥ - Lord Kṛṣṇa; ayam - this; abhyudayate - manifests; mama - My; locanÄya - for the eyes.

In the attitude of RÄdhÄrÄṇī, ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu addressed the gopÄ«s: “ ‘My dear friends, where is that Kṛṣṇa, Cupid personified, who has the effulgence of a kadamba flower, who is sweetness itself, the nectar of My eyes and mind, He who loosens the hair of the gopÄ«s, who is the supreme source of transcendental bliss and My life and soul? Has He come before My eyes again?’ â€
