 mÅ«rcchÄya - in the swoon; haila - there was; sÄká¹£ÄtkÄra - direct meeting; uá¹­hi' - getting up; kare - does; hu-huá¹…-kÄra - tumultuous sound; kahe - says; ei - thus; ÄilÄ - He has come; mahÄ-ÄÅ›aya - the great personality; kṛṣṇera - of Lord Kṛṣṇa; mÄdhurÄ« - sweetness; guṇe - by qualities; nÄnÄ - various; bhrama - mistakes; haya - are; mane - in the mind; Å›loka - the verse; paá¸i' - reciting; karaye - does; niÅ›caya - ascertainment.

When ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu was thus unconscious, He happened to meet the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Consequently He got up and immediately made a tumultuous sound, very loudly declaring, “Now Kṛṣṇa, the great personality, is present.†In this way, because of Kṛṣṇa’s sweet qualities, Caitanya MahÄprabhu made different types of mistakes in His mind. Thus by reciting the following verse, He ascertained the presence of Lord Kṛṣṇa.
