 mahÄ-pÄtra - the Orissan government representative; cali' - moving; ÄilÄ - went; mahÄprabhura sane - with ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu; mleccha - the governor of the other side; Äsi' - coming; kaila - performed; prabhura caraṇa vandane - worshiping the lotus feet of the Lord.

The mahÄ-pÄtra crossed the river with ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu, and when they reached the other shore, the Muslim governor personally received the Lord and worshiped His lotus feet.
