na chaitad vidmaḥ kataran no garÄ«yo yad vÄ jayema yadi vÄ no jayeyuḥ yÄn eva hatvÄ na jijÄ«viá¹£Ämas te ’vasthitÄḥ pramukhe dhÄrtarÄá¹£á¹rÄḥ [6]
yat vÄ–If indeed; (vayam)–we; jayema–win; yadi vÄ–or if; (ete)–these men; naḥ jayeyuḥ–happen to conquer us; na cha vidmaḥ–we do not understand; etat katarat–which of these; garÄ«yaḥ–is more beneficial; naḥ–for us. te dhÄrtarÄá¹£á¹rÄḥ–Those very sons of Dhá¹›tarÄá¹£á¹ra; yÄn hatvÄ–by killing whom; na jijÄ«viá¹£Ämaḥ eva–we do not wish to even live; avasthitÄḥ–are present; pramukhe–before us for battle.
