bhoga-aiÅ›varya-prasaktÄnÄm–Of those persons attached to enjoyment and opulence; apahá¹›ta-chetasÄm–whose minds are deluded; tayÄ– by those flowery words of the Vedas; vyavasÄya-ÄtmikÄ buddhiḥ–the resolve; samÄdhau–in dedication to the Supreme Lord; na vidhÄ«yate–is not accomplished. [44]

Thus attached to enjoyment and opulence, deluded by these flowery words of the Vedas, they do not attain the resolve to dedicate themselves to the Supreme Lord.
