tu–But; sannyāsaḥ–renunciation; niyatasya–of obligatory; karmaṇaḥ–duties; na upapadyate–cannot be justified. parityāgaḥ–

Abandonment; tasya–of those duties; mohāt–out of delusion; parikīrtitaḥ–is called; tāmasaḥ–renunciation of the nature of ignorance. [7]

Renunciation of one’s obligatory duties is wrong. The delusion of giving up these duties is called false renunciation, or renunciation of the nature of ignorance.
