श्रुत्वा भगवता प्रोक्तं फाल्गुनः परवीरहा ।
स्पृष्ट्वापस्तं परिक्रम्य ब्राह्मं ब्राह्मास्त्रं सन्दधे ॥२९॥

Å›rutvÄ bhagavatÄ proktaá¹
phÄlgunaḥ para-vÄ«ra-hÄ
spṛṣá¹vÄpas taá¹ parikramya
brÄhmaá¹ brÄhmÄstraá¹ sandadhe
SÅ«ta said: Hearing the words of the Lord, Arjuna the slayer of hostile warriors, performing Äcamana, circumabulated Kṛṣṇa and aimed his brahmÄstra in order to counteract AÅ›vatthÄmÄ’s weapon.
Tam refers to Krsna. For destroying Asvatthama’s weapon (brahmaya) he aimed his weapon.
