इदमाह हरिः प्रीतो गजेन्द्रं कुरुसत्तम ।
शृण्वतां सर्वभूतानां सर्वभूतमयो विभुः ॥१६॥

idam Äha hariḥ prÄ«to
gajendraá¹ kuru-sattama
śṛṇvatÄá¹ sarva-bhÅ«tÄnÄá¹
sarva-bhūta-mayo vibhuḥ

 idam - this; Äha - said; hariḥ - the Supreme Personality of Godhead; prÄ«taḥ - being pleased; gajendram - unto Gajendra; kuru-sat-tama - O best of the Kuru dynasty; Å›á¹›á¹‡vatÄm - hearing; sarva-bhÅ«tÄnÄm - in the presence of everyone; sarva-bhÅ«ta-mayaḥ - all-pervading Personality of Godhead; vibhuḥ - the great.

O best of the Kuru dynasty, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Supersoul of everyone, being thus pleased, addressed Gajendra in the presence of everyone there. He spoke the following blessings.
