jaá¹ilaá¹ vÄmanaá¹ vipraá¹
mÄyÄ-mÄṇavakaá¹ harim
praviá¹£á¹aá¹ vÄ«ká¹£ya bhá¹›gavaḥ

pratyagá¹›hṇan samutthÄya

mauñjyÄ - made of muñja straw; mekhalayÄ - with a belt; vÄ«tam - circled; upavÄ«ta - sacred thread; ajina-uttaram - wearing a deerskin upper garment; jaá¹ilam - having matted locks of hair; vÄmanam - Lord VÄmana; vipram - a brÄhmaṇa; mÄyÄ-mÄṇavakam - the illusory son of a human being; harim - the Supreme Personality of Godhead; praviá¹£á¹am - entered; vÄ«ká¹£ya - seeing; bhá¹›gavaḥ - the priests who were descendants of Bhá¹›gu; sa-Å›iá¹£yÄḥ - with their disciples; te - all of them; saha-agnibhiḥ - with the fire sacrifice; pratyagá¹›hṇan - properly welcomed; samutthÄya - standing up; saá¹…ká¹£iptÄḥ - being diminished; tasya - His; tejasÄ - by brilliance.
