तानि रूप्यस्य हेम्नश्च क्षेत्राण्यासन्महीपते ॥३३॥

retas tasya mahÄtmanaḥ
tÄni rÅ«pyasya hemnaÅ› ca
ká¹£etrÄṇy Äsan mahÄ«-pate
yatra - wherever; yatra - and wherever; apatat - fell; mahyÄm - on the surface of the world; retaḥ - the semen; tasya - of him; mahÄ-Ätmanaḥ - of the great personality (Lord Åšiva); tÄni - all those places; rÅ«pyasya - of silver; hemnaḥ - of gold; ca - and; ká¹£etrÄṇi - mines; Äsan - became; mahÄ«-pate - O King.
O King, wheresoever on the surface of the globe fell the semen of the great personality of Lord Åšiva, mines of gold and silver later appeared.
ÅšrÄ«la ViÅ›vanÄtha CakravartÄ« ṬhÄkura comments that those who seek gold and silver can worship Lord Åšiva for material opulences. Lord Åšiva lives under a bael tree and does not even construct a house in which to dwell, but although he is apparently poverty-stricken, his devotees are sometimes opulently endowed with large quantities of silver and gold. ParÄ«ká¹£it MahÄrÄja later asks about this, and Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« replies.
