अथानुगृह्य भगवान्मा भैष्टेति सुरान्विभुः ।
शरं धनुषि सन्धाय पुरेष्वस्त्रं व्यमुञ्चत ॥५७॥

athÄnugá¹›hya bhagavÄn
mÄ bhaiṣṭeti surÄn vibhuḥ
Å›araá¹ dhanuá¹£i sandhÄya
pureṣv astraṠvyamuñcata

 atha - thereafter; anugá¹›hya - just to show them favor; bhagavÄn - the most powerful;  - do not; bhaiṣṭa - be afraid; iti - thus; surÄn - unto the demigods; vibhuḥ - Lord Åšiva; Å›aram - arrows; dhanuá¹£i - on the bow; sandhÄya - fixing; pureá¹£u - at those three residences occupied by the demons; astram - weapons; vyamuñcata - released.

The most powerful and able Lord Śiva reassured them and said, “Do not be afraid.†He then fixed his arrows to his bow and released them toward the three residences occupied by the demons.
