तेभ्यो हिरण्यं रजतं वासांस्याभरणानि च ।
ग्रामान् हयान् गजान् प्रादाद् धेनूनामर्बुदानि षट् ॥३४॥

vÄsÄá¹sy ÄbharaṇÄni ca
grÄmÄn hayÄn gajÄn prÄdÄd
dhenÅ«nÄm arbudÄni á¹£aá¹­

 tebhyaḥ - unto them (the learned brÄhmaṇas); hiraṇyam - gold; rajatam - silver; vÄsÄá¹si - garments; ÄbharaṇÄni - ornaments; ca - also; grÄmÄn - villages; hayÄn - horses; gajÄn - elephants; prÄdÄt - gave in charity; dhenÅ«nÄm - of cows; arbudÄni - groups of one hundred million; á¹£aá¹­ - six.

Unto the brÄhmaṇas who took part in the ritualistic ceremony the King gave charity of gold, silver, garments, ornaments, villages, horses and elephants, as well as sixty crores of cows [six hundred million cows].
