हर्यक्षायादिशत्प्राचीं धूम्रकेशाय दक्षिणाम् ।
प्रतीचीं वृकसंज्ञाय तुर्यां द्रविणसे विभुः ॥२॥

haryaká¹£ÄyÄdiÅ›at prÄcÄ«á¹
dhÅ«mrakeÅ›Äya daká¹£iṇÄm
pratÄ«cÄ«á¹ vá¹›ka-saá¹jñÄya
turyÄá¹ draviṇase vibhuḥ

 haryaká¹£Äya - unto Haryaká¹£a; adiÅ›at - delivered; prÄcÄ«m - eastern; dhÅ«mrakeÅ›Äya - unto DhÅ«mrakeÅ›a; daká¹£iṇÄm - the southern side; pratÄ«cÄ«m - the western side; vá¹›ka-saá¹jñÄya - unto his brother whose name was Vá¹›ka; turyÄm - the northern side; draviṇase - unto another brother of his named Draviṇa; vibhuḥ - the master.

MahÄrÄja VijitÄÅ›va offered the eastern part of the world to his brother Haryaká¹£a, the southern part to DhÅ«mrakeÅ›a, the western part to Vá¹›ka and the northern part to Draviṇa.
