धनद उवाच
भो भोः क्षत्रियदायाद परितुष्टोऽस्मि तेऽनघ ।
यत्त्वं पितामहादेशाद्वैरं दुस्त्यजमत्यजः ॥२॥

parituṣṭo 'smi te 'nagha
yat tvaá¹ pitÄmahÄdeÅ›Äd
vairaṠdustyajam atyajaḥ

 dhana-daḥ uvÄca - the master of the treasury (Kuvera) said; bhoḥ bhoḥ - O; ká¹£atriya-dÄyÄda - O son of a ká¹£atriya; parituṣṭaḥ - very glad; asmi - I am; te - with you; anagha - O sinless one; yat - because; tvam - you; pitÄmaha - of your grandfather; ÄdeÅ›Ät - under the instruction; vairam - enmity; dustyajam - difficult to avoid; atyajaḥ - have given up.

The master of the treasury, Kuvera, said: O sinless son of a ká¹£atriya, I am very glad to know that under the instruction of your grandfather you have given up your enmity, although it is very difficult to avoid. I am very pleased with you.
