ity uktas tam anujñÄpya
bhagavÄn bÄdarÄyaṇiḥ
jagÄma bhiká¹£ubhiḥ sÄkaá¹
nara-devena pūjitaḥ

 sÅ«taḥ uvÄca - ÅšrÄ« SÅ«ta GosvÄmÄ« said; iti - thus; uktaḥ - spoken to; tam - him; anujñÄpya - giving permission; bhagavÄn - the powerful saint; bÄdarÄyaṇiḥ - Åšukadeva, the son of BÄdarÄyaṇa VedavyÄsa; jagÄma - went away; bhiká¹£ubhiḥ - the renounced sages; sÄkam - along with; nara-devena - by the King; pÅ«jitaḥ - worshiped.

SÅ«ta GosvÄmÄ« said: Thus requested, the saintly son of ÅšrÄ«la VyÄsadeva gave his permission to King ParÄ«ká¹£it. Then, after being worshiped by the King and all the sages present, Åšukadeva departed from that place.
