 vyarthayÄ - useless; artha - for wealth; Ä«hayÄ - by the endeavor; vittam - money; pramattasya - of the maddened; vayaḥ - youth; balam - strength; kuÅ›alÄḥ - those who are discriminating; yena - by means of which; sidhyanti - become perfect; jaraá¹­haḥ - an old man; kim - what; nu - indeed; sÄdhaye - can I achieve.

Discriminating persons are able to utilize their money, youth and strength to achieve perfection. But I have feverishly squandered these in the useless endeavor for further wealth. Now that I am an old man, what can I achieve?
