tasmÄd brahma-ṛṣīn etÄn
brahman mac-chraddhayÄrcaya
evaá¹ ced arcito 'smy addhÄ
nÄnyathÄ bhÅ«ri-bhÅ«tibhiḥ

 tasmÄt - therefore; brahma-ṛṣīn - brÄhmaṇa sages; etÄn - these; brahman - O brÄhmaṇa (Åšrutadeva); mat - (as you have) for Me; Å›raddhayÄ - with faith; arcaya - just worship; evam - thus; cet - if (you do); arcitaḥ - worshiped; asmi - I will be; addhÄ - directly; na - not; anyathÄ - otherwise; bhÅ«ri - vast; bhÅ«tibhiḥ - with riches.


Text

Therefore you should worship these brÄhmaṇa sages, O brÄhmaṇa, with the same faith you have in Me. If you do so, you will worship Me directly, which you cannot do otherwise, even with offerings of vast riches.
