sarve janÄḥ sura-ruco maṇi-kuṇá¸ala-srag-
uṣṇīṣa-kañcuka-dukÅ«la-mahÄrghya-hÄrÄḥ
nÄryaÅ› ca kuṇá¸ala-yugÄlaka-vá¹›nda-juṣṭa-
vaktra-Å›riyaḥ kanaka-mekhalayÄ virejuḥ

 sarve - all; janÄḥ - the men; sura - like the demigods; rucaḥ - whose effulgent complexions; maṇi - jeweled; kuṇá¸ala - with earrings; srak - flower garlands; uṣṇīṣa - turbans; kañcuka - jackets; dukÅ«la - silk garments; mahÄ-arghya - very precious; hÄrÄḥ - and pearl necklaces; nÄryaḥ - the women; ca - and; kuṇá¸ala - of earrings; yuga - with pairs; alaka-vá¹›nda - and locks of hair; juṣṭa - adorned; vaktra - of whose faces; Å›riyaḥ - the beauty; kanaka - gold; mekhalayÄ - with belts; virejuḥ - shone brilliantly.

All the men there shone like demigods. They were adorned with jeweled earrings, flower garlands, turbans, waistcoats, silk dhotīs and valuable pearl necklaces. The lovely faces of the women were beautified by their matched earrings and locks of hair, and they all wore golden belts.
