patnÄ«-saá¹yÄja - the ritual performed by the sponsor of the sacrifice and his wife consisting of oblations to Soma, Tvaá¹£á¹Ä, the wives of certain demigods, and Agni; avabhá¹›thyaiḥ - and the rituals which solemnize the completion of the sacrifice; caritvÄ - having executed; te - they; tam - him; á¹›tvijaḥ - the priests; ÄcÄntam - having sipped water for purification; snÄpayÄm cakruḥ - they had him bathe; gaá¹…gÄyÄm - in the Ganges; saha - along with; kṛṣṇayÄ - DraupadÄ«.
