śrī-śuka uvāca
ity ādiśya nṛpān kṛṣṇo
bhagavān bhuvaneśvaraḥ
teṣāṁ nyayuṅkta puruṣān
striyo majjana-karmaṇi

 Ĺ›rÄŤ-śukaḼ uvāca - Śukadeva GosvāmÄŤ said; iti - thus; Ädiśya - ordering; nṛpān - the kings; kṛṣṇaḼ - Kṛṣṇa; bhagavān - the Supreme Lord; bhuvana - of all the worlds; ÄŤĹ›varaḼ - the master; teᚣām - of them; nyayuṅkta - engaged; puruᚣān - menservants; striyaḼ - and women; majjana - of cleansing; karmaṇi - in the work.

Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Having thus instructed the kings, Lord Kṛṣṇa, the supreme master of all the worlds, engaged male and female servants in bathing and grooming them.
