pá¹›thÄm - to Queen KuntÄ«; samÄgatya - going; ká¹›ta - offering; abhivÄdanaḥ - His obeisances; tayÄ - by her; ati - extreme; hÄrda - with affection; ardra - wet; dá¹›Å›Ä - whose eyes; abhirambhitaḥ - embraced; Äpṛṣá¹avÄn - He asked; tÄm - from her; kuÅ›alam - about her welfare; saha - together; snuá¹£Äm - with her daughter-in-law, DraupadÄ«; pitá¹› - of His father, Vasudeva; svasÄram - the sister; paripṛṣá¹a - inquired in detail; bÄndhavaḥ - about their relatives (living in DvÄrakÄ).
The Lord then went to see His aunt, Queen KuntÄ«. He bowed down to her and she embraced Him, her eyes moist with great affection. Lord Kṛṣṇa inquired from her and her daughter-in-law, DraupadÄ«, about their welfare, and they in turn questioned Him at length about His relatives [in DvÄrakÄ].
ViÅ›vanÄtha CakravartÄ« ṬhÄkura envisions that as Lord Kṛṣṇa was sitting on His seat, He saw His aunt KuntÄ« approaching in great eagerness to see Him. He then rose at once, quickly went up to her and offered His obeisances. Her eyes moistened with extreme love, she embraced Him and smelled His head.
