 strīṇÄm - as the women; vikroÅ›amÄnÄnÄm - called out; krandantÄ«nÄm - and cried; anÄtha - persons who have no protector; vat - as if; hatvÄ - having killed; paśūn - animals; saunika - a butcher; vat - like; maṇim - the jewel; ÄdÄya - taking; jagmivÄn - he went.
