atha kṛṣṇa-vinirdiá¹£á¹aḥ
sa eva dvija-sattamaḥ
antaḥpura-carīṠdevÄ«á¹
rÄja-putrÄ«m dadarÅ›a ha
atha - then; kṛṣṇa-vinirdiá¹£á¹aḥ - ordered by Lord Kṛṣṇa; saḥ - that; eva - very; dvija - of learned brÄhmaṇas; sat-tamaḥ - the most pure; antaḥ-pura - within the inner palace; carÄ«m - staying; devÄ«m - the goddess, Rukmiṇī; rÄja - of the king; putrÄ«m - the daughter; dadarÅ›a ha - saw.
According to ÅšrÄ«la ÅšrÄ«dhara SvÄmÄ«, ÅšrÄ« Kṛṣṇa had reached the gardens outside the city, and out of concern for Rukmiṇī He had instructed the brÄhmaṇa to tell her of His arrival.
