bhagavÄn punar Ävrajya
purīṠyavana-veṣṭitÄm
hatvÄ mleccha-balaá¹ ninye
tadÄ«yaá¹ dvÄrakÄá¹ dhanam

 bhagavÄn - the Lord; punaḥ - once again; Ävrajya - returning; purÄ«m - to His city; yavana - by the Yavanas; veṣṭitÄm - surrounded; hatvÄ - killing; mleccha - of barbarians; balam - the army; ninye - He brought; tadÄ«yam - their; dvÄrakÄm - to DvÄrakÄ; dhanam - wealth.

The Lord returned to MathurÄ, which was still surrounded by Yavanas. Then He destroyed the army of barbarians and began taking their valuables to DvÄrakÄ.

Purport

It is clear from this verse that KÄlayavana alone pursued Lord Kṛṣṇa into the mountain cave. When Kṛṣṇa returned to the besieged city of MathurÄ, He eliminated the vast barbarian army.
