 evam - thus; sammantrya - inviting Him; dÄÅ›Ärhau - the two descendants of DaÅ›Ärha (Kṛṣṇa and BalarÄma); damÅ›itau - wearing armor; rathinau - riding Their chariots; purÄt - from the city; nirjagmatuḥ - went out; sva - Their own; Äyudha - with weapons; Äá¸hyau - resplendent; balena - by a force; alpÄ«yasÄ - very small; vá¹›tau - accompanied.

After Lord Kṛṣṇa had thus invited His brother, the two DÄÅ›Ärhas, Kṛṣṇa and BalarÄma, wearing armor and displaying Their resplendent weapons, drove out of the city in Their chariots. Only a very small contingent of soldiers accompanied Them.
