Äkarṇya vraja-yoá¹£itaḥ
tÄ Å«cur uddhavaá¹ prÄ«tÄs
tat-sandeÅ›Ägata-smá¹›tīḥ

 Å›rÄ«-Å›ukaḥ uvÄca - Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said; evam - in this fashion; priya-tama - given by their beloved (Kṛṣṇa); Ädiṣṭam - the instructions; Äkarṇya - hearing; vraja-yoá¹£itaḥ - the women of Vraja; tÄḥ - they; Å«cuḥ - said; uddhavam - to Uddhava; prÄ«taḥ - pleased; tat - by that; sandeÅ›a - message; Ägata - having returned; smá¹›tīḥ - their memories.

Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said: The women of Vraja were pleased to hear this message from their dearmost Kṛṣṇa. His words having revived their memory, they addressed Uddhava as follows.
