sa Ĺyena-vega utpatya
muᚣášÄŤ-káštya karÄv ubhau
bhagavantaáš vÄsudevaáš
kruddho vakᚣasy abÄdhata
saḼ - he, CÄášĹŤra; Ĺyena - of a hawk; vegaḼ - with the speed; utpatya - falling upon Him; muᚣášÄŤ - into fists; káštya - making; karau - his hands; ubhau - both; bhagavantam - the Supreme Lord; vÄsudevam - KášášŁáša; kruddhaḼ - angry; vakᚣasi - upon His chest; abÄdhata - struck.
It appears that CÄášĹŤra, realizing he was being defeated, became furious and made a final attempt to defeat Lord KášášŁáša. The demon certainly had the spirit of a good fighter, but if he hoped for victory, he was certainly in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong person.
