kaccit - whether; kurabaka-aÅ›oka-nÄga-punnÄga-campakÄḥ - O kurabaka (red amaranth), aÅ›oka, nÄga, punnÄga and campaka trees; rÄma - of BalarÄma; anujaḥ - the younger brother; mÄninÄ«nÄm - of women, who are proud by nature; itaḥ - passing by here; darpa - the pride; hara - removing; smitaḥ - whose smile.
As soon as the gopīs saw that a particular tree would not answer them, they impatiently left it and rushed off to another to make further inquiries.
