 tatra - there; gÄḥ - the cows; pÄyayitvÄ - making drink; apaḥ - the water; su-mṛṣṭÄḥ - very clear; Å›Ä«talÄḥ - cool; Å›ivÄḥ - wholesome; tataḥ - then; ná¹›pa - O King ParÄ«ká¹£it; svayam - themselves; gopÄḥ - the cowherd boys; kÄmam - freely; svÄdu - sweet-tasting; papuḥ - they drank; jalam - the water.

The cowherd boys let the cows drink the clear, cool and wholesome water of the YamunÄ. O King ParÄ«ká¹£it, the cowherd boys themselves also drank that sweet water to their full satisfaction.
