krīḍiṣyamāṇas tat krṣṇo
bhagavān bala-saᚁyutaḼ
veṇuṁ viraṇayan gopair
go-dhanaiḥ saṁvṛto 'viśat

 krīḍiᚣyamāṇaḼ - intending to play; tat - that (Vṛndāvana forest); kṛṣṇaḼ - Kṛṣṇa; bhagavān - the Supreme Personality of Godhead; bala-saᚁyutaḼ - accompanied by Balarāma; veṇum - His flute; viraṇayan - sounding; gopaiḼ - by the cowherd boys; go-dhanaiḼ - and the cows, who are their wealth; saᚁvṛtaḼ - surrounded; aviśat - He entered.


Text

Intending to engage in pastimes, Lord Kṛṣṇa, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, accompanied by Lord Balarāma and surrounded by the cowherd boys and the cows, entered the forest of Vṛndāvana as He played His flute.
