carantu śanakais tṛṇam

 atra - here, on this spot; bhoktavyam - our lunch should be eaten; asmÄbhiḥ - by us; diva-ÄrÅ«á¸ham - it is very late now; ká¹£udhÄ arditÄḥ - we are fatigued with hunger; vatsÄḥ - the calves; samÄ«pe - nearby; apaḥ - water; pÄ«tvÄ - after drinking; carantu - let them eat; Å›anakaiḥ - slowly; tṛṇam - the grasses.
