kṛṣṇa-nÄmno rÅ«á¸hir iti
sarva-Å›Ästra-vinirṇayaḥ

 tamÄla-Å›yÄmala-tviá¹£i - whose complexion is dark blue, resembling a tamÄla tree; Å›rÄ«-yaÅ›odÄ-stanam-dhaye - sucking the breast of mother YaÅ›odÄ; kṛṣṇa-nÄmnaḥ - of the name Kṛṣṇa; rÅ«á¸hiḥ - the chief meaning; iti - thus; sarva-Å›Ästra - of all revealed scriptures; vinirṇayaḥ - the conclusion.

“ ‘The only purport of the holy name of Kṛṣṇa is that He is dark blue like a tamÄla tree and is the son of mother YaÅ›odÄ. This is the conclusion of all the revealed scriptures.’
