Purport

ÅšrÄ«la BhaktisiddhÄnta SarasvatÄ« ṬhÄkura comments that although the atheists who have deviated from the order of ÅšrÄ« Advaita Ä€cÄrya introduce themselves as followers of Advaita Ä€cÄrya, they do not accept ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa. Yadunandana Ä€cÄrya, one of the most confidential followers of ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu, was the initiated disciple of Advaita Ä€cÄrya. He was not polluted by sentimental distinctions classifying Vaiṣṇavas according to birth. Therefore, although VÄsudeva Datta had not been born in a brÄhmaṇa family, Yadunandana Ä€cÄrya also accepted him as his spiritual master.
