vidyÄ-vinaya-sampanne
brÄhmaṇe gavi hastini
Å›uni caiva Å›va-pÄke ca
paṇá¸itÄḥ sama-darÅ›inaḥ

 vidyÄ - knowledge; vinaya - gentleness; sampanne - endowed with; brÄhmaṇe - unto a brÄhmaṇa; gavi - unto a cow; hastini - unto an elephant; Å›uni - unto a dog; ca - and; eva - also; Å›va-pÄke - unto a dog-eater; ca - also; paṇá¸itÄḥ - those who are actually learned in spiritual understanding; sama-darÅ›inaḥ - equipoised.
