pauṣa-māse āila duṅhe sāmagrī kariyā
sandhyā-paryanta rahe apekṣā kariyā

pauṣa-māse - the month of Pauṣa (December-January); āila - came; duṅhe - Śivānanda Sena and Jagadānanda; sāmagrī kariyā - making all arrangements; sandhyā-paryanta - until the evening; rahe - remain; apekṣā kariyā - waiting.

When the month of Pauṣa arrived, Jagadānanda and Śivānanda collected all kinds of paraphernalia for the Lord’s reception. Every day, they would wait until evening for the Lord to come.
