á¹­ÄnÄá¹­Äni kÄṇera prÄṇa yÄya

 kṛṣṇera - of Lord Kṛṣṇa; vacana-mÄdhurÄ« - the sweetness of speaking; nÄnÄ - various; rasa-narma-dhÄrÄ« - full of joking words; tÄra - of that; anyÄya - atrocities; kathana - description; nÄ yÄya - cannot be made; jagatera - of the world; nÄrÄ«ra - of women; kÄṇe - in the ear; mÄdhurÄ«-guṇe - to the attributes of sweetness; bÄndhi' - binding; á¹­Äne - pulls; á¹­ÄnÄá¹­Äni - tug-of-war; kÄṇera - of the ear; prÄṇa yÄya - the life departs.

“The sweetness of Kṛṣṇa’s joking words plays indescribable havoc with the hearts of all women. His words bind a woman’s ear to the qualities of their sweetness. Thus there is a tug-of-war, and the life of the ear departs.
