kṣaṇe kṣaṇe anubhavi' ei dui-jana
saá¹…ká¹£epe bÄhulye karena kaá¸acÄ-granthana
ká¹£aṇe ká¹£aṇe - moment by moment; anubhavi' - understanding; ei dui-jana - these two persons; saá¹…ká¹£epe - in brief; bÄhulye - elaborately; karena - do; kaá¸acÄ-granthana - compiling the notebooks.
These two great personalities [SvarÅ«pa DÄmodara and RaghunÄtha dÄsa GosvÄmÄ«] recorded the activities of ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu moment by moment. They described these activities briefly as well as elaborately in their notebooks.
For future reference, we should remember that SvarÅ«pa DÄmodara GosvÄmÄ« recorded the pastimes briefly, whereas RaghunÄtha dÄsa GosvÄmÄ« recorded them elaborately. These two great personalities simply recorded the facts; they did not create any descriptive literary embellishments.
