bhÄgavatÄdi Å›Ästra-gaṇe, kariyÄche varṇane,
sei tarjÄ paá¸e anuká¹£aṇa

 vyÄsa - DvaipÄyana VyÄsa; Å›uka-Ädi - and other sages, such as Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ«; yogi-gaṇa - great mystic yogÄ«s; kṛṣṇa - Lord Kṛṣṇa; ÄtmÄ - the Supersoul; nirañjana - without material contamination; vraje - in Vá¹›ndÄvana; tÄá¹…ra - His; yata - all; lÄ«lÄ-gaṇa - pastimes; bhÄgavata-Ädi - ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam and others; Å›Ästra-gaṇe - in revealed scriptures; kariyÄche varṇane - have described; sei tarjÄ - that competition of poetry between two parties; paá¸e - reads; anuká¹£aṇa - every moment.

“The great yogÄ« of My mind always studies the poetry and discussions of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s Vá¹›ndÄvana pastimes. In ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam and other scriptures, great saintly yogÄ«s like VyÄsadeva and Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« have described Lord Kṛṣṇa as the Supersoul, beyond all material contamination.
