ei - this; sukha - happiness; lÄgi' - for; Ämi - I; kariluá¹… sannyÄsa - have taken to the renounced order; ÄmÄra sarva-nÄÅ›a - My ruination; tomÄ-sabÄra - of all of you; parihÄsa - joking.
ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu declared Himself a strict sannyÄsÄ«. A sannyÄsÄ« is not supposed to take help from anyone. Retaining a masseur to give Him massages would indicate His dependence on others. ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu wanted to follow very strictly the principle of not accepting anyone’s help for His bodily comfort.
