prabhu dekhi' daṇá¸avat prÄá¹…gaṇe paá¸ilÄ
prabhu tÄá¹…re cÄpaá¸a mÄri' kahite lÄgilÄ

 prabhu dekhi' - after seeing the Lord there; daṇá¸avat - obeisances; prÄá¹…gaṇe - in the courtyard; paá¸ilÄ - fell down; prabhu - ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu; tÄá¹…re - to RÅ«pa GosvÄmÄ«; cÄpaá¸a mÄri' - giving a mild slap; kahite lÄgilÄ - began to speak.

Seeing the Lord, ÅšrÄ« RÅ«pa GosvÄmÄ« fell flat in the courtyard to offer obeisances. The Lord slapped him mildly in love and spoke as follows.
