hriyam avagṛhya gṛhebhyaḥ karṣati
rÄdhÄá¹ vanÄya yÄ nipuṇÄ
sÄ jayati nisṛṣṭÄrthÄ
vara-vamÅ›aja-kÄkalÄ« dÅ«tÄ«

 hriyam - bashfulness; avagá¹›hya - impeding; gá¹›hebhyaḥ - from private houses; kará¹£ati - attracts; rÄdhÄm - ÅšrÄ«matÄ« RÄdhÄrÄṇī; vanÄya - to the forest;  - which; nipuá¹‡Ä - being expert;  - that; jayati - let it be glorified; nisṛṣṭa-arthÄ - authorized; vara-vamÅ›a-ja - of the bamboo flute; kÄkalÄ« - the sweet tone; dÅ«tÄ« - the messenger.

“ ‘May the sweet sound of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s flute, His authorized messenger, be glorified, for it expertly releases ÅšrÄ«matÄ« RÄdhÄrÄṇī from Her shyness and attracts Her from Her home to the forest.’
