Then RÄmÄnanda RÄya inquired from RÅ«pa GosvÄmÄ« about the causes of the loving affairs between Kṛṣṇa and the gopÄ«s, such as previous attachment, transformations of love, endeavors for love, and exchanges of letters disclosing the gopÄ«s’ awakening love for Kṛṣṇa.
