 viṣṇu-kÄñcÄ« - to the holy place named Viṣṇu-kÄñcÄ«; Äsi' - coming; dekhila - the Lord saw; laká¹£mÄ«-nÄrÄyaṇa - the Deity of Lord NÄrÄyaṇa with mother Laká¹£mÄ«, the goddess of fortune; praṇÄma kariyÄ - after offering obeisances; kaila - made; bahuta stavana - many prayers.


Text

The Lord then visited a holy place known as Viṣṇu-kÄñcÄ«. There He saw Laká¹£mÄ«-NÄrÄyaṇa Deities, and He offered His respects and many prayers to please Them.

Purport

Viṣṇu-kÄñcÄ« is situated about five miles away from KÄñcÄ«puram. It is here that Lord VaradarÄja, another form of Lord Viṣṇu, resides. There is also a big lake known as Ananta-sarovara.
