sahasra-nÄmnÄáš puášyÄnÄáš
trir-ÄvášttyÄ tu yat phalam
ekÄvášttyÄ tu kášášŁášasya
nÄmaikaáš tat prayacchati
sahasra-nÄmnÄm - of one thousand names; puášyÄnÄm - holy; triḼ-ÄvášttyÄ - by thrice chanting; tu - but; yat - which; phalam - result; eka-ÄvášttyÄ - by one repetition; tu - but; kášášŁášasya - of Lord KášášŁáša; nÄma - holy name; ekam - only one; tat - that result; prayacchati - gives.
This verse from the BrahmÄášá¸a PurÄáša is found in the Laghu-bhÄgavatÄmášta (1.5.354), by RĹŤpa GosvÄmÄŤ. Simply by chanting the name of KášášŁáša once, one can attain the same results achieved by chanting the holy name of RÄma three times.
