varÄá¹…gaÅ› candanÄá¹…gadÄ«
sannyÄsa-ká¹›c chamaḥ Å›Änto
niṣṭhÄ-Å›Änti-parÄyaṇaḥ

 suvarṇa-varṇaḥ - whose complexion is like gold; hema-aá¹…gaḥ - having a body like molten gold; vara-aá¹…gaḥ - whose body is very beautifully constructed; candana-aá¹…gadÄ« - smeared with the pulp of sandalwood; sannyÄsa-ká¹›t - accepting the renounced order of life; Å›amaḥ - self-controlled; Å›Äntaḥ - peaceful; niṣṭhÄ - firmly fixed; Å›Änti - bringing peace by propagating the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahÄ-mantra; parÄyaṇaḥ - always in the ecstatic mood of devotional service.

“ ‘The Lord [in the incarnation of Gaurasundara] has a golden complexion. Indeed, His entire body, which is very nicely constituted, is like molten gold. Sandalwood pulp is smeared all over His body. He will take the fourth order of spiritual life [sannyÄsa] and will be very much self-controlled. He will be distinguished from MÄyÄvÄdÄ« sannyÄsÄ«s in that He will be fixed in devotional service and will spread the saá¹…kÄ«rtana movement.’ â€
