kampa, sveda, pulakÄÅ›ru, stambha, vaivarṇya
nirveda, viá¹£Äda, jÄá¸ya, garva, hará¹£a, dainya
kampa - trembling; sveda - perspiration; pulaka-aÅ›ru - jubilation and tears; stambha - shock; vaivarṇya - loss of color; nirveda - disappointment; viá¹£Äda - moroseness; jÄá¸ya - loss of memory; garva - pride; hará¹£a - joy; dainya - humility.
In the Bhakti-rasÄmá¹›ta-sindhu, jÄá¸ya is explained as loss of memory brought about by severe shock due to separation from the beloved. In that state of mind, one loses all concern for loss and gain, hearing and seeing, as well as all other considerations. This marks the preliminary appearance of illusion.
