dṛṣá¹aá¹ Å›rutaá¹ bhÅ«ta-bhavad-bhaviá¹£yat
sthÄsnuÅ› cariṣṇur mahad alpakaá¹ vÄ
vinÄcyutÄd vastu-tarÄá¹ na vÄcyaá¹
sa eva sarvaá¹ paramÄtma-bhÅ«taḥ
dṛṣá¹am - experienced by direct perception; Å›rutam - experienced by hearing; bhÅ«ta - past; bhavat - present; bhaviá¹£yat - which will be in the future; sthÄsnuḥ - immovable; cariṣṇuḥ - movable; mahat - the greatest; alpakam - the smallest; vÄ - or; vinÄ - except; acyutÄt - the infallible Personality of Godhead; vastu-tarÄm - anything else; na vÄcyam - not to be spoken; saḥ - that Supreme Personality of Godhead; eva - certainly; sarvam - everything; paramÄtma-bhÅ«taḥ - the origin of all causes.
This verse from ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam (10.46.43) was spoken by Uddhava when he came to pacify all the inhabitants of Vá¹›ndÄvana during Kṛṣṇa’s absence.
