dhanyeyam adya dharaṇī tṛṇa-vīrudhas tvat-
pÄda-spṛśo druma-latÄḥ karajÄbhimṛṣá¹Äḥ
nadyo 'drayaḥ khaga-má¹›gÄḥ sadayÄvalokair
gopyo 'ntareṇa bhujayor api yat-spá¹›hÄ Å›rīḥ
dhanyÄ - glorified; iyam - this; adya - today; dharaṇī - the surface of the globe; tṛṇa-vÄ«rudhaḥ - the grass and herbs; tvat - Your; pÄda-spṛśaḥ - from the touch of the lotus feet; druma-latÄḥ - the creepers and trees; karaja-abhimṛṣá¹Äḥ - touched by Your fingernails; nadyaḥ - the rivers; adrayaḥ - the hills; khaga-má¹›gÄḥ - the birds and forest animals; sadaya-avalokaiḥ - because of Your merciful glances; gopyaḥ - the gopÄ«s, the damsels of Vraja; antareṇa - by the region between; bhujayoḥ - Your two arms; api - also; yat - for which; spá¹›hÄ - desirous; Å›rīḥ - the goddess of fortune.
