 kahite - to describe; kṛṣṇera - of Lord Kṛṣṇa; rase - the different types of mellows; Å›loka - a verse; paá¸e - recites; prema-ÄveÅ›e - absorbed in ecstatic love; preme - in such love; sanÄtana-hÄta dhari' - catching the hand of SanÄtana GosvÄmÄ«; gopÄ«-bhÄgya - the fortune of the gopÄ«s; kṛṣṇa guṇa - the transcendental qualities of Kṛṣṇa; ye - which; karila varṇana - described; bhÄva-ÄveÅ›e - in ecstatic love; mathurÄ-nÄgarÄ« - the women of the city of MathurÄ.

Just as the women of MathurÄ ecstatically described the fortune of the gopÄ«s of Vá¹›ndÄvana and the transcendental qualities of Kṛṣṇa, ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu described the different mellows of Kṛṣṇa and became overwhelmed with ecstatic love. Grasping the hand of SanÄtana GosvÄmÄ«, He recited the following verse.
